Hypothetical project 06/01/2021

For this project, in groups we came up with a hypothetical public art project.

Our group put a stone house upside down in the river Clyde, to bring attention to the rising sea level which will undoubtedly affect the UK. However we were more motivated by how we could present it, using characters and comedy.

We ended up filming a ‘news broadcast’ reporting our art piece as if it had happened, explaining our work as the artists - and a scientist - and then showing viewers reactions, which included Karen, a stoner and a fish’s perspective.

In the end, the piece we hypothetically made didn’t end up being the main piece of work, but the video itself.
